Ice Cream Man 4K Blu-ray

Alliance Entertainment is preparing 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases of Eli Roth's Ice Cream Man (2026), starring Ari Millen, Charlie Zeltzer, Shiloh O'Reilly, Sarah Abbott, and Benjamin Byron Davis. The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on October 20.

Blu-ray Sales: August 9-15: Project Hail Mary Fends Off Mars Attacks! in First Week

For the week that ended on August 15th, Alliance Entertainment's Project Hail Mary topped the Blu-ray-only, overall packaged media and 4K UHD charts in its debut. Second place on the Blu-ray-only chart went to Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's Mars Attacks!, which was released on 4K UHD this week, while third place went to Warner's own Mortal Kombat II in its third week.

This Week on Blu-ray: August 24-30

For the week of August 24th, Walt Disney Home Entertainment will release Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu on Blu-ray and 4K UHD. Other new releases include Disclosure Day from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, The Sheep Detectives from Alliance Entertainment, Abraham's Boys: A Dracula Story from Shudder, Carolina Caroline from Magnolia Home Entertainment, Reacher: Season Three from Paramount Home Media Distribution, Father Mother Sister Brother from MUBI, Power Ballad from Lionsgate Home Entertainment, The Breadwinner from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and The Audacity: Season 1 from AMC Studios.

After several leaked photos found their way online, director Zack Snyder has released an official photo of the new Batmobile, as it will appear in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The highly anticipated action adventure film stars Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent, Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman/Princess Diana and Jeremy Irons as Alfred, along with Holly Hunter, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane. The film opens worldwide on March 25, 2016.

Blu-ray Sales, September 1-7: Draft Day Wins the Sales Lineup

For the week that ended on September 7th, Summit and Lionsgate's Draft Day took the top spot on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales rankings. Director Ivan Reitman's sports-themed dramedy had trouble connecting with audiences when it premiered in April. The film grossed just under $28 million domestically, and its critical notices weren't much better.

Independent distributors Blue Underground have confirmed that they are planning to bring to Blu-ray Larry Cohen's film God Told Me To (1976), starring Tony Lo Bianco, Deborah Raffin, Sandy Dennis, Sylvia Sidney, Robert Drivas, and Richard Lynch. A preliminary stree date has not yet been announced, but the distributors have revealed the official cover for this upcoming release.

Video Services Corp Inks Three Year Canadian Distribution Deal with Kino Lorber

Video Services Corp (VSC) and Kino Lorber announced at the Toronto International Film Festival that they have inked a three-year multi-platform Canadian home entertainment distribution deal that will begin October 1. VSC will distribute Kino Lorber releases in all packaged media formats in Canada as well as certain other distribution platforms on a case by case basis.
