For the week that ended on October 24th, Alliance Entertainment's Masters of the Universe (2026) topped the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media in its first week. The second live-action film featuring Mattel's He-Man opened in June 2026 to mixed reviews and poor box office, grossing less than $65 million domestically and less than $114 million worldwide, against a reported budget of between $170-200 million. Happily, things are looking better on the home video front, where Masters of the Universe had an HD share of 67% and 32% of units sold from the 4K UHD format, enough to make it the week's top 4K UHD release.

Debuting in second place on the Blu-ray-only chart is Bleecker Street's Hadestown: The Musical. The filmed performance of Anaïs Mitchell's Tony Award-winning musical, which was shot at the Lyric Theatre in London and features five of the original Broadway cast members alongside members of the West End production, opened in July 2026 to critical acclaim, grossing over $20 million domestically and $23 million globally (from the UK, Australia and New Zealand only) so far. This week, Hadestown: The Musical sold 43% as many Blu-ray units as Masters of the Universe, with an HD share of 69%.. A 4K UHD edition is not yet available.

And debuting in third place on the Blu-ray-only chart is the Blu-ray version of Alliance Entertainment's Heated Rivalry: Season 1 (2025). An adaptation of Canadian author Rachel Reid's novels of the same name, the first season of Heated Rivalry concerns two male hockey players who fall in love while playing for rival teams. The six-episode first season was a critical and ratings hit, winning all of its sixteen nominations at the 14th Canadian Screen Awards and even receiving a limited theatrical release. This week, Heated Rivalry: Season 1 sold 22% as many Blu-ray units as Masters of the Universe, with an HD share of 44%. Please note that only the Blu-ray edition was released this week, while the 4K UHD combo pack linked above will be available on November 24th, 2026.

Elsewhere on the Blu-ray-only chart, the Blu-ray version of Alliance's Ice Cream Man (2026) (another title which receives its 4K UHD edition later, this time on November 17th) debuted at No. 5, while Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's The Cable Guy and Paramount Home Media Distribution's Scary Movie (2000), both of which received 4K UHD upgrades this week, came in at Nos. 6 and 8 and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's Blu-ray for Adventure Time: The Complete Collection (2010-2018) came in at No. 10. Outside of the top ten, Well Go USA's Legend of the White Dragon came in at No. 12 and the Criterion Collection's new 4K UHD edition of The Silence of the Lambs brought that film back up to No. 14, while Criterion's box set of The Complete Kubrick (1951-1999) came in at No. 17. Finally. the Warner Archive Collection Blu-ray box set for The Quick Draw McGraw Show: The Complete Series (1959-1961) came in at No. 20 to round out the chart.

Elsewhere on the 4K UHD chart, Arrow Video's Futureworld 4K came in at No. 15, while Magnolia Home Entertainment's I Want Your Sex 4K debuted at No. 17.
