New Label Toy Robot Video Announces First Releases

New label Toy Robot Video, a subsidiary of Arrow Video, has announced its first Blu-ray and 4K Blu-ray releases. They are: Masters of the Universe (1987), Guyver: Dark Hero (1994), Marshmallow (2025), Roaring Fire (1981), and Ninja Wars (1982).

Blu-ray Sales: May 31-June 6: Avatar: Fire and Ash Bests Hoppers

For the week that ended on June 6th, Disney and 20th Century Studios' Avatar: Fire and Ash remained atop the Blu-ray-only, overall packaged media and Blu-ray 3D charts for the third straight week, managing to fend off Disney and Pixar's new release, Hoppers, which had to settle for second place. Third place on the Blu-ray-only chart went to Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's One Battle After Another, which saw a new 4K UHD release with an exclusive Blu-ray of extras and topped the 4K UHD chart.

Mars Attacks! 30th Anniversary 4K Blu-ray

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will bring to 4K Blu-ray Tim Burton's Mars Attacks! (1996), starring Jack Nicholson, Glenn Close, Annette Bening, Pierce Brosnan, and Danny DeVito. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on August 11.

StudioCanal is preparing 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases of Walter Hill's Johnny Handsome (1989), starring Mickey Rourke, Lance Henriksen, Ellen Barkin, Elizabeth McGovern, Forest Whitaker, and Morgan Freeman. The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on August 17.

Other new releases include The Super Mario Galaxy Movie from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Complete First Season (2026) from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, Hamilton (2020) from Walt Disney Home Entertainment, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come from Searchlight Pictures and Dark Winds: Season 4 (2025) from AMC Studios. Catalog titles include 4K UHD upgrades for Them! (1954) and Day of the Dead from Shout Factory,The Arrival (1996) from Lionsgate Home Entertainment, Eraser from Warner and Audition (1999) from Arrow Video.

HBO Home Entertainment has announced the Blu-ray release of Banshee: The Complete Third Season. Created by Jonathan Tropper and David Schickler, the Cinemax action-drama Banshee charts the continuing twists and turns that follow Lucas Hood (Antony Starr), an ex-convict who improbably assumes the identity of sheriff of the rural, Amish-area town of Banshee, Pa., where his former lover and partner-in-crime has been living under her own alias, Carrie Hopewell (Ivana Milicevic). Street date is April 5, 2016.
