New label Toy Robot Video, a subsidiary of Arrow Video, has announced its first Blu-ray and 4K Blu-ray releases. They are: Masters of the Universe (1987), Guyver: Dark Hero (1994), Marshmallow (2025), Roaring Fire (1981), and Ninja Wars (1982).

For the week that ended on June 6th, Disney and 20th Century Studios' Avatar: Fire and Ash remained atop the Blu-ray-only, overall packaged media and Blu-ray 3D charts for the third straight week, managing to fend off Disney and Pixar's new release, Hoppers, which had to settle for second place. Third place on the Blu-ray-only chart went to Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's One Battle After Another, which saw a new 4K UHD release with an exclusive Blu-ray of extras and topped the 4K UHD chart.

For the week that ended on October 25th, Universal Studios Home Entertainment's Jurassic World debuted at the top of the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales lists. The latest installment in Universal and Steven Spielberg's hugely successful box-office franchise, Jurassic World grossed over $651 million domestically and $1.6 billion worldwide, totals that made it the highest grossing picture (so far) of the year.

IMAX Corporation and Twentieth Century Fox, a division of 21st Century Fox, have entered into a long-term, multi-picture agreement. Paul King has agreed to write and direct a sequel to the summer blockbuster Paddington. According to Deadline, which broke the news, King will work with Simon Farnaby on the script and the film will again be distributed by StudioCanal.
