Arrow Films' Nordic Noir & Beyond has announced that it will release on Blu-ray Trapped. The release will be available for purchase on April 14.
The series is currently airing on BBC Four on Saturday evenings from 9pm and stars Ólafur Darri Ólafsson (The Last Witch Hunter, Contraband), as local police chief, Andri, and is created by Award-Winning director Baltasar Kormákur (Everest, 2 Guns, Contraband)
The series centres around a remote Icelandic town as a mutilated and dismembered body washes on the shore, an unidentifiable man murdered only hours ago. The local police chief, Andri (Ólafsson), whose personal life is in shatters, realises a killer has descended into his town. As word spreads, order disintegrates into chaos as the town's residents realise they are all possible suspects.
Trapped is under the direction of cinematic filmmaker Baltasar Kormákur who helmed last year's true-story epic Everest.
