Warner Archive, in association with Hammer Films, is preparing 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases of Terence Fisher's Dracula (1958), starring Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee, Michael Gough, Melissa Stribling, and Carol Marsh. The releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on October 27.

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has officially announced that it will release on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray Will Gluck's romantic dramedy One Night Only (2026), starring Monica Barbaro, Callum Turner, Bobby Cannavale, Molly Ringwald, and LeVar Burton. The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on October 20.

Severin Films has dated and detailed its upcoming Limited Edition 4K Blu-ray release of Just Jaeckin's Gwendoline (1984), starring Tawny Kitaen, Brent Huff, Zabou Breitman, Bernadette Lafont, and Jean Rougerie. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on November 24.

For the week of August 31st, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release 28 Days Later on 4K UHD. New releases include the anime series Black Butler: Emerald Witch Arc (2025) from Crunchyroll and Dry Leaf from Cinema Guild. Catalog titles on Blu-ray include Ten Women in Black and The Magnificent Cuckold from Radiance Films, while catalog titles on 4K UHD include The Hot Spot from Radiance and Tekkonkinkreet from Shout Factory and GKIDS.

Warner Home Video is bringing Gantz, the successful live-action Japanese adaptation of Hiroya Oku's manga series, to Blu-ray on August 30th. Ranked #1 at the Japanese box office for four consecutive weeks, Gantz tells the action-packed tale of two teens who attempt to save a man from an oncoming train, only to wake up in a strange apartment dominated by a mysterious black sphere. Tasked with hunting down aliens, they're soon given advanced weaponry and returned to Earth.

Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced the Blu-ray release of director John Landis' The Blues Brothers. The 1980 comedy stars John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd as rythym-n-blues brothers Jake and Elwood Blues, ordinary men charged with "a mission from God" to save an orphanage from foreclosure. The Blu-ray edition will arrive on July 26th, includes both theatrical and extended versions of the film, and offers a number of special features.

Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced the Blu-ray release of National Lampoon's Animal House for July 26th. John Landis' classic comedy pits a college fraternity of troublemakers against a cantankerous dean, and stars John Belushi, Tim Matheson, John Vernon, Verna Bloom, Thomas Hulce, Karen Allen and Donald Sutherland. The Blu-ray edition is set to include several extras, among them an original documentary and a mockumentary featuring the original cast.

Warner Home Video has unveiled additional details and an exclusive new trailer for the upcoming Blu-ray release of Supernatural: The Anime Series. Produced by Madhouse Studios and directed by Shigeyuki Miya and Atsuko Ishizuka, Supernatural's first foray into anime features 22 episodes, the participation of series stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, and a nasty stable of things that go bump in the night. The 2-disc Blu-ray release is scheduled to arrive on July 26th.

Legendary band Pink Floyd has recently signed an agreement with EMI Music which will allow the development and production of multi-platform packages on a variety of different formats, including Blu-ray, containing material which the band has recorded during the years. According to an official announcement released by EMI Muisic, "The releases, under the banner Why Pink Floyd…?, are designed to appeal to a wide cross section of their fans, with music to excite first time listeners, while super-deluxe box sets will cater to dedicated fans, allowing them to immerse themselves in multi-disc sets, containing alternate takes, unreleased tracks, restored live concert screen films and a live recording of the legendary 'The Dark Side Of The Moon' performance at Wembley in 1974."

First Look Studios has revealed details about the uncut, uncensored Blu-ray release of Hell's Kitchen: Season 5. The first season of Hell's Kitchen shot in HD, the television series' fifth US outing finds chef Gordon Ramsey at his fiercest as he tries to choose a chef worthy of a $250,000 prize and a job as a sous chef at the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa in Atlantic City. Season 5 will be spread across four Blu-ray discs and will arrive on August 2nd.

Online retailer Amazon is currently running yet another sale on various Sony Pictures catalog titles priced at $5.99 and $6.99. The sale includes films by Alan J. Pakula, Luc Besson, Justin Chadwick, John Boorman, Doug Liman, Renny Harlin, and Steven Zaillian among others. Amazon has not specified how long the sale will last.

Independent British distributors Third Window Films have revealed that they are preparing a Blu-ray release of Shion Sono's black comedy Cold Fish (2010), which is loosely based on the true story of one of Japan's most prolific serial killers. Last year, the film was screened at a number of film festivals, including the Venice Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival. Street date is June 27th.

The formula for the classic romantic comedy consists of a few scenes that tell a heart felt story of love lost and then won again, intercut with hilarious circumstances that heighten the overall romance. For today's Blu-ray release of No Strings Attached that producers would remove the romance from the romantic comedy and replace with lust.

After a spectacular opening overseas, the Paramount/Marvel/Disney juggernaut Thor, a trippy mixture of Norse mythology and comic book bombast, was unleashed on North American audiences and did well. Although, it should be said, the haul wasn't probably as godly as the powers-that-be wanted it to be.

Walt Disney Home Entertainment has detailed the upcoming release of The Fox and the Hound and The Fox and the Hound 2, due on August 9th. The 3-disc Combo Pack will include a single BD-50 disc housing both films, a standard DVD copy of the original classic and a seperate standard DVD copy of its direct-to-video sequel. The set's supplemental package will also offer featurettes, sing-a-longs, music videos and more.

In an early announcement to retailers, Paramount Home Entertainment have revealed that they will release Blake Edwards' Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961), starring Audrey Hepburn (Charade, My Fair Lady), George Peppard (How the West Was Won, The Blue Max), and Patricia Neal (The Day the Earth Stood Still, A Face in the Crowd). According to retail giant Walmart, Breakfast at Tiffany's will arrive on Blu-ray on August 23.

British distributors Optimum Home Entertainment have detailed the upcoming 3-Disc Full Disclosure Edition of Francis Ford Coppola's Apocalypse Now. The BFI has announced that its best-selling title Salò, or The 120 Days of Sodom, previously released in separate Blu-ray and DVD formats, will be released in a Dual Format Edition (DVD and Blu-ray discs in one box) on 23 May. The new DFE release will be a three-disc set containing one Blu-ray and two DVD discs.

Lionsgate will release The Lincoln Lawyer on July 12th in a Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack. Paramount Home Entertainment has announced the Blu-ray release of Rango, the Industrial Light & Magic computer-animated film from director Gore Verbinski (The Pirates of the Caribbean) that earned more than $230 million at the worldwide box office earlier this year. Johnny Depp voices Rango, a chameleon who dreams of being a fearless hero and gets the opportunity to do just that when he inadvertently becomes the sheriff of a lawless desert town in the Wild West. Rango is set to arrive on July 12th with a number of special features (including both the theatrical and extended cuts of the film) via a Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack.
