Hong Kong-based distributors Universe Laser & Video Co. will release a boxset containing Oxide Pang Shun's The Detective (2007) and The Detective II (2011), starring Aaron Kwok (Johnnie To's Throw Down), Patrick Tam (To Live and Die in Mongkok), and Gong Beibi (Connected). In 2007, The Detective won Film of Merit Award at the Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards. Street date is July 7th.
