Scream Factory and Shout Factory have announced their November batch of releases. They are: The Chow Yun-Fat Collection Volume One, The Family Man (2000), Women in Prison Collection (1971-1985), and The Transformers: The Movie (1986).

Ice Cream Man 4K Blu-ray

Alliance Entertainment is preparing 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases of Eli Roth's Ice Cream Man (2026), starring Ari Millen, Charlie Zeltzer, Shiloh O'Reilly, Sarah Abbott, and Benjamin Byron Davis. The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on October 20.

Blu-ray Sales: August 9-15: Project Hail Mary Fends Off Mars Attacks! in First Week

For the week that ended on August 15th, Alliance Entertainment's Project Hail Mary topped the Blu-ray-only, overall packaged media and 4K UHD charts in its debut. Second place on the Blu-ray-only chart went to Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's Mars Attacks!, which was released on 4K UHD this week, while third place went to Warner's own Mortal Kombat II in its third week.

This Week on Blu-ray: August 24-30

For the week of August 24th, Walt Disney Home Entertainment will release Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu on Blu-ray and 4K UHD. Other new releases include Disclosure Day from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, The Sheep Detectives from Alliance Entertainment, Abraham's Boys: A Dracula Story from Shudder, Carolina Caroline from Magnolia Home Entertainment, Reacher: Season Three from Paramount Home Media Distribution, Father Mother Sister Brother from MUBI, Power Ballad from Lionsgate Home Entertainment, The Breadwinner from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and The Audacity: Season 1 from AMC Studios.

The Rock 30th Anniversary 4K Blu-ray

Paramount Pictures has asked Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec to write a script for a new Beverly Hills Cop film. According to early reports, Eddie Murphy has already agreed to return as Detective Axel Foley.

Two Classic Adventure Films Heading to Blu-ray

The UK branch of Twentieth Century Fox has revealed that it plans to release on Blu-ray two classic adventure films: Richard Fleischer's Fantastic Voyage (1966) and Irwin Allen's Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (1961). The two release will arrive on the UK market on November 4th.

French label Gaumont has revealed that it plans to bring to Blu-ray two films directed by Yves Robert: Pardon Mon Affaire (1976), starring Jean Rochefort, Claude Brasseur, and Guy Bedos, and We Will All Meet in Paradise (1977), starring Jean Rochefort, Claude Brasseur, Guy Bedos, Victor Lanoux, and Josiane Balasko. The two films will arrive on the French market in November.

For the week of July 30th, Paramount is releasing G.I. Joe: Retaliation, which satisfyingly sequelizes G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. Other releases include Star Trek: The Next Generation, Season Four and a standalone version of the series' "Redemption" two-parter, Criterion's great The Devil's Backbone Blu-ray, John Carpenter's The Fog, the horror drama Black Rock, and Francis Ford Coppola's Peggy Sue Got Married.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has officially announced the Blu-ray release of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, The Complete Season Five, the final televised season of the Cartoon Network animated series. For the week that ended on July 21st, Warner Bros scored the top film on the Blu-ray-only and overall home media sales charts with its release of 42. Director Brian Helgeland's biopic about iconic baseball player Jackie Robinson and his early struggles playing with the Brooklyn Dodgers was a surprise hit when it premiered last April; the modestly budgeted drama grossed over $95 million domestically.
