Scream Factory and Shout Factory have announced their November batch of releases. They are: The Chow Yun-Fat Collection Volume One, The Family Man (2000), Women in Prison Collection (1971-1985), and The Transformers: The Movie (1986).

Ice Cream Man 4K Blu-ray

Alliance Entertainment is preparing 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases of Eli Roth's Ice Cream Man (2026), starring Ari Millen, Charlie Zeltzer, Shiloh O'Reilly, Sarah Abbott, and Benjamin Byron Davis. The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on October 20.

Blu-ray Sales: August 9-15: Project Hail Mary Fends Off Mars Attacks! in First Week

For the week that ended on August 15th, Alliance Entertainment's Project Hail Mary topped the Blu-ray-only, overall packaged media and 4K UHD charts in its debut. Second place on the Blu-ray-only chart went to Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's Mars Attacks!, which was released on 4K UHD this week, while third place went to Warner's own Mortal Kombat II in its third week.

This Week on Blu-ray: August 24-30

For the week of August 24th, Walt Disney Home Entertainment will release Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu on Blu-ray and 4K UHD. Other new releases include Disclosure Day from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, The Sheep Detectives from Alliance Entertainment, Abraham's Boys: A Dracula Story from Shudder, Carolina Caroline from Magnolia Home Entertainment, Reacher: Season Three from Paramount Home Media Distribution, Father Mother Sister Brother from MUBI, Power Ballad from Lionsgate Home Entertainment, The Breadwinner from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and The Audacity: Season 1 from AMC Studios.

The Rock 30th Anniversary 4K Blu-ray

20th Century Studios is preparing a combo pack release of Peter Weir's Dead Poets Society (1989), starring Robin Williams, Robert Sean Leonard, Ethan Hawke, Josh Charles, and Gale Hansen. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on September 29.

The Weinstein Company and Celestial Pictures have teamed up to produced English-language remakes of The Avenging Eagle and Come Drink With Me. The scripts for these upcoming productions will be written by John Fusco, who is also working on the script for Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 2: The Green Destiny.

Kino Lorber Acquires The Trials of Muhammad Ali

Kino Lorber has acquired the North American distribution rights to Bill Siegel's documentary The Trials of Muhammad Ali (2013). The film, which was produced by Kartemquin Films, had its premiere earlier this year at the Tribeca Film Festival.

After delaying the special's Blu-ray release in 2012, Paramount and Nickelodeon have announced they are bringing It's a SpongeBob Christmas! to Blu-ray this holiday season. The stop-motion special features John Goodman as the voice of Santa Clause, and arrives on Blu-ray on October 15th.

Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced the 40th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray release of director Clint Eastwood's High Plains Drifter, starring Eastwood, Verna Bloom, Marianna Hill, Mitch Ryan, Stefan Gierasch, Billy Curtis and Geoffrey Lewis. Digitally remastered and fully restored from high resolution 35MM original film, the classic 1973 western makes its Blu-ray debut on October 15th.
