Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced the Blu-ray release of writer/director Robert Towne's
Tequila Sunrise, starring Mel Gibson, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell, J.T. Walsh and Raul Julia. The 1988 romantic crime thriller makes its Blu-ray debut on January 7, 2014.
Synopsis: Two former high school friends -- fast-rising L.A.. cop Nick Frescia (Russell) and Dale "Mac" McKussic (Gibson), a drug dealer desperate to get out of the business -- both vie for the affection of a sleek restaurant owner named Jo Ann Vallenari (Pfeiffer).
