StudioCanal and Radio-Canada Team Up

StudioCanal and Ottawa-based Radio-Canada have finalized an agreement that will allow the Canadian label to release more than 1400 films on Blu-ray, DVD, VOD, and EST. The deal covers 1200 French films and 200 Italian films.
StudioCanal's library includes many classic films from Jean-Pierre Melville, Jean-Luc Godard, Vittorio De Sica, Luis Buñuel, Alain Resnais, Claude Sautet, Marcel Carné, Jean Renoir, René Clément, and Henri Verneuil, amongst others.
In the United States, StudioCanal has a similar deal with Lionsgate Films.
