Ice Cream Man 4K Blu-ray

Alliance Entertainment is preparing 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases of Eli Roth's Ice Cream Man (2026), starring Ari Millen, Charlie Zeltzer, Shiloh O'Reilly, Sarah Abbott, and Benjamin Byron Davis. The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on October 20.

Blu-ray Sales: August 9-15: Project Hail Mary Fends Off Mars Attacks! in First Week

For the week that ended on August 15th, Alliance Entertainment's Project Hail Mary topped the Blu-ray-only, overall packaged media and 4K UHD charts in its debut. Second place on the Blu-ray-only chart went to Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's Mars Attacks!, which was released on 4K UHD this week, while third place went to Warner's own Mortal Kombat II in its third week.

This Week on Blu-ray: August 24-30

For the week of August 24th, Walt Disney Home Entertainment will release Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu on Blu-ray and 4K UHD. Other new releases include Disclosure Day from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, The Sheep Detectives from Alliance Entertainment, Abraham's Boys: A Dracula Story from Shudder, Carolina Caroline from Magnolia Home Entertainment, Reacher: Season Three from Paramount Home Media Distribution, Father Mother Sister Brother from MUBI, Power Ballad from Lionsgate Home Entertainment, The Breadwinner from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and The Audacity: Season 1 from AMC Studios.

The Rock 30th Anniversary 4K Blu-ray

20th Century Studios is preparing a combo pack release of Peter Weir's Dead Poets Society (1989), starring Robin Williams, Robert Sean Leonard, Ethan Hawke, Josh Charles, and Gale Hansen. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on September 29.

Sony to Expand the Spider-Man Universe

Scream Factory, the horror-thriller offshoot of independent film distributor Shout Factory, has revealed that it plans to add two more titles to its Blu-ray catalog: Eric Weston's Evilspeak (1981), starring Clint Howard, R.G. Armstrong, Joe Cortese, Claude Earl Jones, and Haywood Nelson, and Jimmy Huston's Final Exam (1981), starring Cecile Bagdadi, Joel S. Rice, Ralph Brown, and DeAnna Robbins.

Earlier today, the nominations for the 71st Golden Globe Awards were announced at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. 12 Years a Slave and American Hustle are the current leaders, each film having received seven nominations. The 71st Golden Globe Awards, hosted by SNL's Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, will be held on Sunday, January 12 in Beverly Hills.
