Walt Disney Pictures has released the first official teaser trailer for Pete's Dragon (2016). A reimagining of Disney's cherished 1977 family film of the same name, the new adventure tells the story an orphaned boy named Pete and his best friend Elliott, who just so happens to be a dragon. Pete's Dragon arrives in US theaters on August 12th.
Starring Oakes Fegley, Robert Redford, Bryce Dallas Howard, Wes Bently and Karl Urban, the film is directed by David Lowery from a script by Toby Halbrooks and David Lowery.
