Ice Cream Man 4K Blu-ray

Alliance Entertainment is preparing 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases of Eli Roth's Ice Cream Man (2026), starring Ari Millen, Charlie Zeltzer, Shiloh O'Reilly, Sarah Abbott, and Benjamin Byron Davis. The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on October 20.

Blu-ray Sales: August 9-15: Project Hail Mary Fends Off Mars Attacks! in First Week

For the week that ended on August 15th, Alliance Entertainment's Project Hail Mary topped the Blu-ray-only, overall packaged media and 4K UHD charts in its debut. Second place on the Blu-ray-only chart went to Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's Mars Attacks!, which was released on 4K UHD this week, while third place went to Warner's own Mortal Kombat II in its third week.

This Week on Blu-ray: August 24-30

For the week of August 24th, Walt Disney Home Entertainment will release Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu on Blu-ray and 4K UHD. Other new releases include Disclosure Day from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, The Sheep Detectives from Alliance Entertainment, Abraham's Boys: A Dracula Story from Shudder, Carolina Caroline from Magnolia Home Entertainment, Reacher: Season Three from Paramount Home Media Distribution, Father Mother Sister Brother from MUBI, Power Ballad from Lionsgate Home Entertainment, The Breadwinner from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and The Audacity: Season 1 from AMC Studios.

The Rock 30th Anniversary 4K Blu-ray

Independent U.S. distributors Grindhouse Releasing have officially announced that they will release on Blu-ray Ruggero Deodato's controversial cult film Cannibal Holocaust (1980), starring Robert Kerman, Francesca Ciardi, Perry Pirkanen, Luca Barbareschi, Carl Gabriel Yorke and Ricardo Fuentes. The release will be available for purchase on July 1.

Walt Disney Home Entertainment will add four titles to its Blu-ray catalog in August: Chris Buck and Kevin Lima's Tarzan (1999), Ron Clements and John Musker's Hercules (1997), James Algar, Clyde Geronimi and Jack Kinney's The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (1949), and Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers (2004).

Raro Video U.S. have confirmed that they will release on Blu-ray Domenico Paolella's classic Eurocrime thriller Stunt Squad a.k.a. La polizia è sconfitta (1977), starring Marcel Bozzuffi, Vittorio Mezzogiorno, Riccardo Salvino, and Claudia Giannotti. The release is set to arrive on the U.S. market in September.

Starz has officially announced that the highly anticipated epic drama Outlander will premiere on Saturday, Aug. 9, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The 16-episode series is based on the Diana Gabaldon book series and is executive produced by Ron Moore (Battlestar Galactica).

For the week that ended on May 4th, Disney Home Entertainment's Frozen again took the top spot on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media charts. This year's Academy Award-winner for Best Animated Feature won Disney much acclaim last year, and it's has continued to dominate the small screen - this week marks the sixth week (out of the seven it has been available on home media) that it has sat at number one.
