This Week on Blu-ray: April 6-12

For the week of April 6th, Alliance Entertainment will release Mercy (2026) on Blu-ray and 4K UHD. New releases on Blu-ray include V/H/S/Halloween from Shudder, Sanatorium Under the Sign of the Hourglass from KimStim, Peacock (2024) from Oscilloscope Laboratories, The Mysterious Gaze of the Flamingo from Altered Innocence and I Was a Stranger from Angel Studios. Catalog titles include Blu-rays for the Wandering Ginza Butterfly Collection (1972) from Arrow Video, Randy and the Mob from Lightyear Entertainment and Over the Garden Wall: The Complete Series (2014) from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, new Blu-ray editions of The Thief of Bagdad (1924) and The Stewardesses from Kino Lorber and a 4K UHD upgrade for Gilda from the Criterion Collection.

Other new releases include Memoir of a Snail from IFC Films, Star Trek: Lower Decks: The Final Season (2024) from Paramount Home Media Distribution, the nature documentary Asia (2024) from BBC Home Entertainment and Trailer Park Boys Presents: Standing on the Shoulders of Kitties from Unobstructed View. Catalog titles include The Glass Web on Blu-ray 3D from Kino Lorber and 4K UHD upgrades for Night Moves (1975) and Choose Me from the Criterion Collection, Venom (1981) from Blue Underground, Night of the Creeps from Shout Factory, Tommy Boy from Paramount and Black Sheep (1996) from Kino.

Blu-ray Sales: March 9-15: Gladiator II Still Number I in Week II

For the week that ended on March 15th, it's déjà vu all over again as Paramount Home Media Distribution's Gladiator II, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment's Wicked (2024) and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's Red One kept the top three spots on the Blu-ray-only chart, while two new releases from last week, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's Kraven the Hunter and Lionsgate Home Entertainment's Den of Thieves 2: Pantera even maintained their spots in fourth and fifth place.
