Scream Factory and Shout Factory Announce July Releases

Scream Factory and Shout Factory have begun revealing the titles from their July slate of 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases. Amongst them are: Unlawful Entry (1992), Full Contact (1992), Pleasantville (1998), Dark Shadows (2012), and Lupin the 3rd: The Movie ─ The Immortal Bloodline (2025).

Blu-ray Sales: April 19-25: 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple Bests the Competition

For the week that ended on April 25th, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple topped both the Blu-ray-only and 4K UHD charts in a week where the top six Blu-rays were all new releases: Black Bear's Shelter (2026), which topped the overall packaged media chart, took second place, while Lionsgate Home Entertainment's The Strangers: Chapter 3 took third, followed immediately by Disney and 20th Century Studios' Send Help (2026), Paramount Home Media Distribution's Primate (2025) and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment's Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die.

This Week on Blu-ray: May 4-10

For the week of May 4th, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will release "Wuthering Heights" (2026) and IT: Welcome to Derry: The Complete First Season (2025) on Blu-ray and 4K UHD. Other new releases include GOAT (2026) from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, Solo Mio from Angel Studios, I Can Only Imagine 2 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment and Youngblood (2025) from Well Go USA. Catalog titles include Stray Dog (1949) from the Criterion Collection, G.I. Samurai from Arrow Video, Blue Thunder: The Complete Series (1984) from Sony, The Pusher Trilogy (1996-2005) from Magnolia Home Entertainment, Gilmore Girls: The Complete Series (2000-2016) from Warner and 4K UHD upgrades for Alice in Wonderland (1951) from Walt Disney Home Entertainment and Blue Thunder (1983) from Arrow.

The 7th Voyage of Sinbad 4K Blu-ray

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that it will release on 4K Blu-ray Nathan Juran's The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (1958), starring Kerwin Mathews, Kathryn Grant, Richard Eyer, Torin Thatcher, and Alec Mango. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on July 21.

StudioCanal have revealed that they are planning to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Mike Hodges' Flash Gordon (1980) with a brand new 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases of the recent 4K restoration of the film. The two releases will be available for purchase on August 3rd.

The highest grossing film of 2020, Bad Boys for Life was a hit with audiences following its January release, grossing over $419 million worldwide on top of its estimated $90-million production budget.
