Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that it will release on 4K Blu-ray Danny Boyle's 28 Days Later (2002), starring Cillian Murphy, Naomie Harris, Christopher Eccleston, Megan Burns, and Brendan Gleeson. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on September 1.

For the week of April 13th, the Criterion Collection will release Trouble in Paradise (1932) and Monty Python's Life of Brian on Blu-ray and 4K UHD. New releases include the documentary Becoming Led Zeppelin from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, the anime releases Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM from Crunchyroll and Colorful Stage! The Movie: A Miku Who Can't Sing from Shout Factory and GKIDS, as well as A Traveler's Needs from Cinema Guild and Midsomer Murders: Series 25 (2025) from Acorn Media. Catalog titles include 4K UHD upgrades for Death Ship, UFOria, Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins, Runaway Train and The Phantom (1996) from Kino Lorber and Meet the Fockers from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.

For the week that ended on September 23rd, Walt Disney Home Entertainment's The Little Mermaid (2023) just edge out Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse to take the top of both the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts, while third place on the Blu-ray-only chart went to Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's The Exorcist, which was released on 4K UHD this week.
