For the week of May 6th, Paramount Home Media Distribution will release a 4K UHD Blu-ray for Alex Proyas' The Crow (1994), starring Brandon Lee, Ernie Hudson, Michael Wincott, David Patrick Kelly, Angel David and Rochelle Davis. Sourced from a new 4K master, Paramount presents The Crow with Dolby Vision HDR and DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio. New extras includeShadows & Pain: Designing The Crow: A three-part featurette with production designer Alex McDowell and Sideshow Collectibles: An interview with Edward R. Pressman. Also included are two audio commentaries, a behind-the-scenes featurette, extended scenes a trailer and more. Coming this week from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment are four more Blu-rays from the Warner Archive Collection. They are:

Charles Brabin and Charles Vidor's The Mask of Fu Manchu (1932), starring Boris Karloff, Lewis Stone, Karen Morley, Charles Starrett, Myrna Loy and Jean Hersholt. Sourced from a 4K scan of best preservation elements, Warner Archive presents The Mask of Fu Manchu with DTS-HD MA 2.0 Mono audio. Extras include audio commentary with Film Historian Greg Mank and the Merrie Melodies shorts Freddy the Freshman and The Queen Was in the Parlor (both 1932). Anthony Mann's Devil's Doorway (1950), starring Robert Taylor, Louis Calhern, Paula Raymond, Marshall Thompson, James Mitchell and Edgar Buchanan. Sourced from a 4K scan of best preservation elements, Warner Archive presents Devil's Doorway with DTS-HD MA 2.0 Mono audio. Extras include audio commentary with Film Historian Greg Mank and the MGM cartoons The Chump Champ and Cue Ball Cat (both 1950) and the film's original theatrical trailer. Francis Ford Coppola's The Rain People (1969), starring James Caan, Shirley Knight, Robert Duvall, Tom Aldredge, Andrew Duncan and Margaret Fairchild. Sourced from a 4K scan of the original camera negative, Warner Archive presents The Rain People with DTS-HD MA 2.0 Mono audio. Extras include the film's original theatrical trailer.

Finally from Warner Archive comes a Hanna-Barbera double-feature: Scooby-Doo On Zombie Island / Return to Zombie Island (1998-2019), starring the voices of Frank Welker, Scott Innes, Grey Griffin, Billy West, Mary Kay Bergman and Matthew Lillard. Warner Archive presents Scooby-Doo On Zombie Island with DTS-HD MA 2.0 audio and Return to Zombie Island with DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio. Extras include promo trailers for both features. Coming to Blu-ray from the Criterion Collection is the double feature A Story of Floating Weeds / Floating Weeds: Two Films by Yasujiro Ozu (1934-1959). Criterion presents A Story of Floating Weeds (浮草物語) (1934) with a score by composer Donald Sosin in DTS-HD MA 5.1, while Floating Weeds (浮草) (1959) has an LPCM Mono track, with both films having optional English subtitles. Extras include audio commentary by Japanese-film historian Donald Richie (for A Story of Floating Weeds) and film critic Roger Ebert (for Floating Weeds), as well as a trailer. Also included is an essay by Richie.

Coming to remastered Blu-ray from Kino Lorber is Fritz Lang's Secret Beyond the Door (1947), starring Joan Bennett, Michael Redgrave, Anne Revere, Barbara O'Neil, Natalie Schafer and Paul Cavanagh. Sourced from a 2022 4K scan by Paramount Pictures, Kino presents Secret Beyond the Door with a new audio commentary by author / film historian Alan K. Rode.

Also from Kino is a 4K UHD and remastered Blu-ray for Fred Zinnemann's High Noon (1952), starring Gary Cooper, Thomas Mitchell, Lloyd Bridges, Katy Jurado, Grace Kelly and Otto Kruger. Sourced from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative, Kino presents High Noon with DTS-HD MA 2.0 Mono audio and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include two new audio commentaries: One by author / film historian Alan K. Rode, and another by film historian / writer Julie Kirgo. Five featurettes from the 2016 Olive Films Signature Edition Blu-ray are also included, as well as a making of featurette and a trailer for the film.

Then from Kino are remastered Blu-rays for Michael Ritchie's Fletch (1985) and Fletch Lives (1989), starring Chevy Chase. Each film is sourced from a new 2K remaster from an interpositive, with DTS-HD MA 2.0 audio (and a DTS-HD MA 5.1 remix for Fletch). Extras include new audio commentary for each film with entertainment journalists / authors Bryan Reesman and Max Evry, vintage interviews with Chevy Chase, Michael Ritchie and (on Fletch Lives) actress Julianne Phillips, three 2007 featurettes (on Fletch) TV spots and newly remastered theatrical trailers for both films.

Finally from Kino is a Blu-ray for Monk: The Complete Sixth Season (2007-2008). The four-disc set contains all 16 episodes, sourced from new 4K masters, and includes an audio commentary, seven video commentaries and five Little Monk webisodes as extras.

Coming this week from MVD Visual are three catalog titles. First up is Ernie Fosselius' short parody film Hardware Wars (1978), starring Jeff Hale and Ernie Fosselius. Presented from in both a new 2K scan of a 16mm print and a 2012 HD master, MVD Visual presents Hardware Wars with a choice of LPCM 2.0 or LPCM Mono audio tracks. Also from MVD is a reissue of Greydon Clark's Joysticks (1983), starring Joe Don Baker, Leif Green, Scott McGinnis, Jon Gries, Corinne Bohrer and John Diehl. Presented from a 2015 HD master, MVD Visual presents Joysticks with LPCM 2.0 Mono audio. Extras include filmmaker commentary, fan commentary, an interview with Greydon Clark a trailer and more. Finally from MVD is a Blu-ray for Tibor Takács' Sabotage (1996), starring Mark Dacascos, Tony Todd, John Neville, Carrie-Anne Moss, Graham Greene and James Purcell. MVD presents Sabotage from an HD master with LPCM 2.0 audio. Extras include new interviews with Mark Dacascos and Tony Todd, along with a Mark Dacascos trailer reel. Packaging includes reversible artwork, a mini-poster and a slipcover.

Coming to 4K UHD from Lionsgate Home Entertainment is Francis Ford Coppola's One from the Heart (1982), starring Frederic Forrest, Teri Garr, Raul Juliá, Nastassja Kinski, Lainie Kazan and Harry Dean Stanton. Lionsgate presents the film in both its original version and a new cut: One from the Heart - Reprise, with a choice of LPCM 2.0 or DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio tracks. New extras include The Look of One from the Heart, The Cast of One from the Heart, The Choreography of One from the Heart, Reinventing the Musical, a restoration comparison and a new trailer.

Coming to Blu-ray from Arrow Video is Sidney Lumet's Night Falls on Manhattan (1996), starring Andy Garcia, Richard Dreyfuss, Lena Olin, James Gandolfini, Ian Holm and Roslyn Cohn. Sourced from a new 2K master (made from a 4K scan of the original camera negative), Arrow presents Night Falls on Manhattan with a choice of a DTS-HD MA 5.1 or LPCM 2.0 audio tracks. Extras include two audio commentaries with the cast and crew, the documentary The Directors: Sidney Lumet (1999), on-set interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and a theatrical trailer and TV spots. Also included is an "illustrated collectors' booklet featuring new writing on the film by Nick Clement and original production notes". Finally this week, Shout Factory have a 4K UHD and Blu-ray double-feature: Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan's The Addams Family / The Addams Family 2 (2019-2021), starring the voices of Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Chloë Grace Moretz, Nick Kroll, Snoop Dogg and Bette Midler. Both films are presented from 4K masters, with a choice of DTS-HD MA 7.1, 5.1 or 2.0 audio tracks and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include deleted scenes, featurettes, lyric videos, and a trailer for the first film.
