Warner Archive, in association with Hammer Films, is preparing 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases of Terence Fisher's Dracula (1958), starring Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee, Michael Gough, Melissa Stribling, and Carol Marsh. The releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on October 27.

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has officially announced that it will release on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray Will Gluck's romantic dramedy One Night Only (2026), starring Monica Barbaro, Callum Turner, Bobby Cannavale, Molly Ringwald, and LeVar Burton. The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on October 20.

Severin Films has dated and detailed its upcoming Limited Edition 4K Blu-ray release of Just Jaeckin's Gwendoline (1984), starring Tawny Kitaen, Brent Huff, Zabou Breitman, Bernadette Lafont, and Jean Rougerie. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on November 24.

For the week of August 31st, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release 28 Days Later on 4K UHD. New releases include the anime series Black Butler: Emerald Witch Arc (2025) from Crunchyroll and Dry Leaf from Cinema Guild. Catalog titles on Blu-ray include Ten Women in Black and The Magnificent Cuckold from Radiance Films, while catalog titles on 4K UHD include The Hot Spot from Radiance and Tekkonkinkreet from Shout Factory and GKIDS.

Paramount Home Entertainment has announced South Park: The Complete Fourteenth Season for Blu-ray release on April 26. This BD set includes all 14 episodes from the 14th season of this animated series, where Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny dive into social networking, defend against annoying Jersey "muff cabbage" and finally reveal the secret identity of Mysterion in an epic three-part saga.

Paramount Home Entertainment has announced the Blu-ray release of Born to Raise Hell, with a street date of April 19. This direct-to-video action movie stars Steven Seagal (who also wrote the screenplay) as an Interpol agent bent on avenging the death of one of his men, killed while investigating drug trafficking in Eastern Europe.

Few would have anticipated that in the span of just three months, we'd get no fewer than three cult movies directed by visionary filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky. Cinema Guild has revealed the edition details for the Blu-ray release of Marwencol, which as previously reported will come out on April 12. This award-winning documentary will be the first release of Cinema Guild's new Blu-ray line. The BD will be presented in 1080p with a DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 track and will will include an exclusive mini-print of a Mark Hogancamp photograph.

Warner Home Video has announced Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation for Blu-ray release on April 19 (separately, not in a double-feature SKU). With the purchase of either title, you can receive a voucher code for a free exclusive Jade character costume download for the PS3 version of the upcoming Warner Bros. Oppo's eagerly awaited new flagship Blu-ray player, model BDP-95 has gone up for preorder at the Oppo digital website, with an estimated availability date of March. As previously reported, it shares the same playback platform as the BDP-93, but it is designed from the ground up with a different chassis and several audiophile improvements. It carries a price of $999.

Red was far and away the top-selling Blu-ray title during the week ended January 30, according to Nielsen VideoScan. Secretariat couldn't win this race and ended up second. Blu-ray sales for Saw: The Final Chapter were relatively low for a horror movie: it was third, with barely 15 percent the sales of Summit's action comedy. Red was also the title with the highest Blu-ray market share, with 46% of its total disc sales coming from the Blu-ray edition.

Amazon hadn't featured a Blu-ray in its Deal of the Day for a while, but today it is offering a major BD title. Until midnight PST, you can order Deadwood: The Complete Series for $85.49 (59% off MSRP). Image Entertainment has announced The Twilight Zone: Season 4 for Blu-ray release on May 17, just three months after Season 3 comes out. Release details are similar to previous season sets of this groundbreaking TV series: 5 discs, 1.33:1 original aspect ratio, uncompressed mono soundtrack and "hours of new and exclusive bonus features not available anywhere else."

Confirming earlier reports, Anchor Bay Home Entertainment has officially announced and detailed the Oscar-nominated The King's Speech for Blu-ray release on April 19. This will be the first release by Anchor Bay of a Weinstein Company title under the multi-year distribution agreement between both companies announced earlier this year.

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has announced The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader for Blu-ray release on April 8, in a BD/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack. In this third installment of the Narnia cycle (picked up by Fox when Disney passed on it after Prince Caspian), Lucy and Edmund Pevensie, along with their cousin Eustace, are swallowed into a painting and transported back to Narnia once again. Although it was shown theatrically in (converted) 3D, no 3D Blu-ray has been announced.

Warner Home Video has announced Harry Potter: Years 1-7 Part 1 for Blu-ray release on April 15, the same day that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 streets. This seven-movie Blu-ray gift set will include nine discs and "an abundance of spectacular special features on each movie." List price has been set at $134.99.

When Disney first announced that they would begin releasing some classic animated features outside of the Diamond Series, Blu-ray fans were ecstatic that they would soon be seeing their favorite animated films at a higher frequency in high definition but were unsure if they would see the same attention to detail that Disney applied to their premier line. Thankfully, the House of Mouse spared no expense in the restoration of these "non-Diamond" releases, and today's Blu-ray release of Alice in Wonderland in no exception.

Once again, Warner Home Video will celebrate the birthday of actor/director Clint Eastwood by releasing some of his back catalog on Blu-ray on June 7. The standout is the 1976 western The Outlaw Josey Wales, which will come out in a Digibook edition. The studio will also release two Eastwood two-disc double features, each including a title new to Blu-ray: Every Which Way But Loose/Any Which Way You Can and Firefox/Heartbreak Ridge.
