Ice Cream Man 4K Blu-ray

Alliance Entertainment is preparing 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases of Eli Roth's Ice Cream Man (2026), starring Ari Millen, Charlie Zeltzer, Shiloh O'Reilly, Sarah Abbott, and Benjamin Byron Davis. The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on October 20.

Blu-ray Sales: August 9-15: Project Hail Mary Fends Off Mars Attacks! in First Week

For the week that ended on August 15th, Alliance Entertainment's Project Hail Mary topped the Blu-ray-only, overall packaged media and 4K UHD charts in its debut. Second place on the Blu-ray-only chart went to Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's Mars Attacks!, which was released on 4K UHD this week, while third place went to Warner's own Mortal Kombat II in its third week.

This Week on Blu-ray: August 24-30

For the week of August 24th, Walt Disney Home Entertainment will release Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu on Blu-ray and 4K UHD. Other new releases include Disclosure Day from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, The Sheep Detectives from Alliance Entertainment, Abraham's Boys: A Dracula Story from Shudder, Carolina Caroline from Magnolia Home Entertainment, Reacher: Season Three from Paramount Home Media Distribution, Father Mother Sister Brother from MUBI, Power Ballad from Lionsgate Home Entertainment, The Breadwinner from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and The Audacity: Season 1 from AMC Studios.

The Rock 30th Anniversary 4K Blu-ray

Independent British distributors Peccadillo Pictures have revealed that they are planning to bring to Blu-ray director Alain Guiraudie's L'inconnu du lac a.k.a Stranger by the Lake (2013), starring Pierre Deladonchamps, Christophe Paou, Patrick d'Assumçao, Mathieu Vervisch, and Emmanuel Daumas. The preliminary release date set by the distributors is May 26th.

Justin Lin to Direct 3D Remake of Shaolin Temple

Perfect Storm Entertainment has confirmed that director Justin Lin will direct a remake of Cheung Yam-Yim's Shaolin Temple (1982). The film, which is expected to be produced in China, will also be shot in 3D.

Walt Disney Home Entertainment has announced the Blu-ray release of writer/director Ken Scott's Delivery Man, starring Vince Vaughn, Chris Pratt and Cobie Smulders. A remake of Scott's 2011 French-Canadian comedy Starbuck, Delivery Man streets on March 25th.

Italian distributors Mustang Entertainment have revealed that they are planning to bring to Blu-ray director Federico Fellini's legendary film La Dolce Vita (1960), starring Marcello Mastroianni, Anita Ekberg, Anouk Aimée, Yvonne Furneaux, Magali Noël, Nadia Gray, and Lex Barker. The release will be available for purchase in Italy on March 18th.

On April 15th, it will release Lars von Trier's Breaking the Waves (1996).
