Blu-ray Sales: May 31-June 6: Avatar: Fire and Ash Bests Hoppers

For the week that ended on June 6th, Disney and 20th Century Studios' Avatar: Fire and Ash remained atop the Blu-ray-only, overall packaged media and Blu-ray 3D charts for the third straight week, managing to fend off Disney and Pixar's new release, Hoppers, which had to settle for second place. Third place on the Blu-ray-only chart went to Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's One Battle After Another, which saw a new 4K UHD release with an exclusive Blu-ray of extras and topped the 4K UHD chart.

Mars Attacks! 30th Anniversary 4K Blu-ray

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will bring to 4K Blu-ray Tim Burton's Mars Attacks! (1996), starring Jack Nicholson, Glenn Close, Annette Bening, Pierce Brosnan, and Danny DeVito. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on August 11.

For the week of June 15th, Paramount Home Media Distribution will release Scream 7 on Blu-ray and 4K UHD. Other new releases include The Super Mario Galaxy Movie from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Complete First Season (2026) from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, Hamilton (2020) from Walt Disney Home Entertainment, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come from Searchlight Pictures and Dark Winds: Season 4 (2025) from AMC Studios. Catalog titles include 4K UHD upgrades for Them! (1954) and Day of the Dead from Shout Factory,The Arrival (1996) from Lionsgate Home Entertainment, Eraser from Warner and Audition (1999) from Arrow Video.

For the week that ended on January 31st, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's Goosebumps went to the top of the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales rankings. This YA-horror feature - a semi-update of R.L. Stine's popular book series - was a modest success with both audiences and critics following its October release, grossing over $134 million worldwide on top of an estimated $58 million production budget.
