Blu-ray Sales: May 31-June 6: Avatar: Fire and Ash Bests Hoppers

For the week that ended on June 6th, Disney and 20th Century Studios' Avatar: Fire and Ash remained atop the Blu-ray-only, overall packaged media and Blu-ray 3D charts for the third straight week, managing to fend off Disney and Pixar's new release, Hoppers, which had to settle for second place. Third place on the Blu-ray-only chart went to Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's One Battle After Another, which saw a new 4K UHD release with an exclusive Blu-ray of extras and topped the 4K UHD chart.

Mars Attacks! 30th Anniversary 4K Blu-ray

Other new releases include The Super Mario Galaxy Movie from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Complete First Season (2026) from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, Hamilton (2020) from Walt Disney Home Entertainment, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come from Searchlight Pictures and Dark Winds: Season 4 (2025) from AMC Studios. Catalog titles include 4K UHD upgrades for Them! (1954) and Day of the Dead from Shout Factory,The Arrival (1996) from Lionsgate Home Entertainment, Eraser from Warner and Audition (1999) from Arrow Video.

Justice League vs. Teen Titans Blu-ray

The next DC Universe Original Movie, Justice League vs. Teen Titans, is coming to Blu-ray this spring. The all-new animated movie finds the Justice League under mind control by the demonic forces of Trigon, turning the veteran super heroes against their young counterparts. The movie will be available through a standard BD/DVD/Digital HD combo pack and a Deluxe Edition combo pack, which includes a bonus Robin figure. Street date is April 12th.

For the week that ended on January 24th, Universal Studios Home Entertainment's Straight Outta Compton went to the top of the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales rankings. Director F. Gary Gray's hit NWA biopic was a big success with both audiences and critics following its October release, grossing over $200 million and winning a Best Original Screenplay nomination, although many have argued the picture merited even more Oscar attention.

The British Film Institute has announced that a brand new restoration of Abel Gance's legendary film Napoleon (1927) will be released on Blu-ray later this year.
