Magnolia Home Entertainment has detailed its upcoming 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases of Ben Wheatley's Normal (2026), starring Bob Odenkirk, Lena Headey, Brendan Fletcher, Henry Winkler, and Peter Shinkoda. The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on July 14.

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment is preparing 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases of Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic's The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (2026), featuring the voices of Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jack Black, Charlie Day, and Keegan-Michael Key. The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on June 16.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced that it will release on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray Lee Cronin's The Mummy (2026), starring Jack Reynor, Laia Costa, Veronica Falcón, May Calamawy, and Shylo Molina. The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on July 14.

For the week that ended on May 2nd, Black Bear's Shelter (2026) rose up a spot to top the Blu-ray-only chart in its second week, while second and third place went to Arrow Video's releases of Innerspace and Soldier (1998), which were also the week's top two 4K UHD releases.

This Week on Blu-ray: May 11-17

For the week of May 11th, Disney and 20th Century Studios will release Fight Club (1999) on 4K UHD. New releases include Twinless from Lionsgate Home Entertainment, Peter Hujar's Day from the Criterion Collection and The Legend of Hei II from GKIDS and Shout Factory. Other catalog titles include George Stevens: A Filmmaker's Journey from the Warner Archive Collection and 4K UHD upgrades for Rider on the Rain and 10 to Midnight from Kino Lorber, Girls (1980) from Cult Epics, , Bridesmaids from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment and Moneyball from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

Warner Archive has announced its June batch of releases. They are: Last Summer (1969), Pretty Maids All in a Row (1971), Start the Revolution Without Me (1970), Come Live with Me (1941), Night and Day (1946), Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo (1944), Strange Cargo (1940), Rose-Marie (1936), Letty Lynton (1932), and Dastardly and Muttley in Their Flying Machines: The Complete Series (1969-1970).

For the week that ended on August 4th, Warner Home Entertainment's Ready Player One remained at number one on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media charts. Director Steven Spielberg scored a blockbuster entertainment that performed decently with audiences, grossing $582 million worldwide on top of its $175-million production budget.

The Big Lebowski 20th Anniversary Edition To Be Sourced From 4K Remaster

We are still waiting for Universal Pictures Home Entertainment to officially announce and detail its upcoming 20th anniversary 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases of The Big Lebowski, but our friends over at The Digital Bits have been able to confirm that the studio will apparently be using a 4K remaster of the film to source them.

New York based Rialto Pictures will release John Carpenter's landmark horror movie The Fog on October 26, in its first-ever major restoration. The horror classic, in a full 4K restoration from Studiocanal, opens October 26 for limited runs at the Metrograph, in New York, Landmark's Nuart in Los Angeles, and The Music Box Theatre in Chicago.
