U.S. label Garagehouse Pictures has officially announced and detailed its upcoming Blu-ray release of director Gus Trikonis' dark comedy Supercock (1975), starring Ross Hagen, Nancy Kwan, Tony Lorea, Logan Clarke, and Joonee Gamboa. The release will be available for purchase on April 16.
Synopsis: Seth Calhoun (Ross Hagen), an American cowboy, and his prized pet cock, Friendly, travel to the Phillipines to enter the First International Cockfighting Olympics and a for chance to win $100,000. But little do they realize the crooked contest is run by the vicious Nono brothers (Seeno, Heeno and Speeno), who will stop at nothing, including cocknapping, to block the cowboy and his cock from competing. In a race against time, Seth must team up with a comely double-crosser (Nancy Kwan) and woozy WW2 vet (Tony Lorea) to thwart the Nono gang and locate Friendly before it's too late.
Directed by underrated exploitation veteran Gus Trikonis (The Swinging Barmaids), and starring Ross Hagen (Wonder Women) and Nancy Kwan (The Girl Who Knew Too Much), Supercock a.k.a.
