For the week that ended on March 2nd, Walt Disney Home Entertainment's Ralph Breaks the Internet premiered at number one on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media charts. This spirited animated comedy - the sequel to the 2012 hit Wreck-It Ralph - did well with critics and viewers last year. The film netted good critical notices (it has a 71% rating on Metacritic) and went on to gross over $520 million worldwide on top of its estimated $175-million production budget. This week, Ralph Breaks the Internet had a very strong Blu-ray market share of 79%.

Next up on the Blu-ray-only sales ranking was another Disney title: the iconic musical adventure The Little Mermaid. The 1989 animated classic revitalized Disney's feature animation department and proved an enduring success for the studio - the film made over $211 million worldwide (almost $400 million, when adjusted for inflation) and continues to attract new fans on the home media platform. On the Blu-ray-only list, The Little Mermaid had an HD market share of 100% and sold 29% as many Blu-rays as Ralph Breaks the Internet. Regarding the overall package-media list, the film came in fourth place and sold 23% as many total units as the Wreck-It Ralph sequel.

Finally, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment's Bohemian Rhapsody rounded out the top three on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales lists. A musical journey through the work of classic-rock band Queen, Bohemian Rhapsody became one of the past year's biggest successes. Even though Bohemian Rhapsody garnered mediocre critical notices (it has a 49% rating on Metacritic) and a fair amount of behind-the-scenes controversy, it still grossed over $854 million worldwide on top of its estimated $52-million production budget and win four Academy Awards (including Best Actor and Best Editing). Bohemian Rhapsody had a solid Blu-ray market share of 64% and sold 23% as many Blu-rays and 29% as many total units as Ralph Breaks the Internet.
