Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that it will release on 4K Blu-ray Nathan Juran's The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (1958), starring Kerwin Mathews, Kathryn Grant, Richard Eyer, Torin Thatcher, and Alec Mango. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on July 21.

Searchlight Pictures is preparing a Blu-ray release of Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett's Ready or Not 2: Here I Come (2026), starring Samara Weaving, Kathryn Newton, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Elijah Wood, and Kevin Durand. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on June 16.

For the week that ended on April 18th, Toho's Godzilla Minus One rose up and crushed both the Blu-ray-only and 4K UHD charts, while Alliance Entertainment's Mercy (2026) remained in second place in its second week on shelves and Lionsgate Home Entertainment's Greenland 2: Migration remained in third place in its third week. Fourth place went to the Criterion Collection's remastered Blu-ray and 4K UHD releases of Monty Python's Life of Brian.

For the week of April 27th, Lionsgate Home Entertainment will release Dust Bunny on 4K UHD combo pack. Other new releases include Highest 2 Lowest from A24, Grafted from Shudder, Cold Storage from Samuel Goldwyn Films, Great Absence from Film Movement and Plan 75 from KimStim. Catalog titles include Blu-rays from the Warner Archive Collection, Badge 373 from Cinématographe, Something's Gotta Give from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and 4K UHD releases for Hold that Ghost and Throw Momma from the Train from Kino Lorber, The Grapes of Death and The Living Dead Girl from Indicator, Innerspace and Soldier (1998) from Arrow Video and John Singleton's Hood Trilogy (1991-2001) from the Criterion Collection.

For the week of January 18th, Shout Factory releases two John Carpenter classics to 4K UHD, the 1987 possession horror Prince of Darkness and his next film, the 1988 cult horror-comedy They Live. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment offers up two new releases, The Climb and The Kid Detective, as well as a 4K UHD upgrade for Roland Emmerich's disaster film 2012. Arrow Video will bring South Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook's JSA: Joint Security Area to Blu-ray loaded with extra features, while the Criterion Collection will release Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story by Martin Scorsese.

For the week that ended on January 9th, Paramount Home Media Distribution's Love and Monsters topped both the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts. The post-apocalyptic adventure about one man's quest to reunite with his girlfriend was originally meant to have a wide theatrical release in February 2021, but like so many movies in recent months, those plans were changed by the coronavirus pandemic, and Paramount ended up giving the film a limited theatrical release in October 2020 instead, where it managed to bring in over $1 million at the box office and received positive reviews. Love and Monsters also has the distinction of knocking Christopher Nolan's Tenet off of the top spot on both charts, where it had sat for the previous three weeks.
