For the week of August 9th, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will release Batman: The Long Halloween Part Two. The animated film picks up where the June release of Part One left off to complete the story. The disc includes the DC Showcase short "Blue Beetle", as well as a sneak peek at the next DCAU film, Injustice. A Best Buy Exclusive SteelBook edition will also be available, but WB has also said that a 4K UHD release which will combine both parts of the film into one is due later this year.

Also coming from Warner this week is a new addition to the Warner Archive Collection, One Crazy Summer, starring John Cusack, Demi Moore, Bobcat Goldthwait, Tom Villard, Matt Mulhern and Jeremy Piven. Synopsis: After graduating from high school, art school hopeful Hoops McCann (John Cusack) struggles to complete his application to the Rhode Island School of Design. Resigning himself to a summer of boredom, McCann agrees to go along with his best friend, George Calamari (Joel Murray), on a family trip to Nantucket, Mass. But, after McCann and Calamari meet rocker-in-distress Cassandra (Demi Moore), it suddenly looks like it's going to be "one crazy summer."

New this week from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment is Timur Bekmambetov's thriller Profile, starring Valene Kane, Morgan Watkin, and Christine Adams. Studio description: Profile follows an undercover British journalist in her quest to bait and expose a terrorist recruiter through social media, while trying not to be sucked in by her recruiter and lured into becoming a militant extremist herself. The unconventional thriller plays out entirely on a computer screen in the Screenlife format, pioneered by Bekmambetov (Night Watch, Day Watch).

Reviewer Martin Liebman was quite enamored with Profile and gave the disc high marks for picture and audio quality. You can read his full review here.
