StudioCanal is preparing 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases of Walter Hill's Johnny Handsome (1989), starring Mickey Rourke, Lance Henriksen, Ellen Barkin, Elizabeth McGovern, Forest Whitaker, and Morgan Freeman. The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on August 17.

Other new releases include The Super Mario Galaxy Movie from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Complete First Season (2026) from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, Hamilton (2020) from Walt Disney Home Entertainment, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come from Searchlight Pictures and Dark Winds: Season 4 (2025) from AMC Studios. Catalog titles include 4K UHD upgrades for Them! (1954) and Day of the Dead from Shout Factory,The Arrival (1996) from Lionsgate Home Entertainment, Eraser from Warner and Audition (1999) from Arrow Video.

For the week that ended on May 30th, Disney and 20th Century Studios' Avatar: Fire and Ash remained atop the Blu-ray-only, overall packaged media, Blu-ray 3D and 4K UHD charts in its second week. Second place on the Blu-ray-only chart went to Alliance Entertainment's Fallout: Season Two (2025-2026) while third place went to Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, which was released on 4K UHD by Arrow Video this week.
