This Week on Blu-ray: June 1-7

For the week of June 1st, Walt Disney Home Entertainment will release Hoppers on Blu-ray and 4K UHD. Other new releases include Doctor Who: Season Two (2025) from BBC Studios, The Creep Tapes: Season Two (2025) from Shudder, Protector (2026) from Magenta Light Studios and Homestead: The Series: Season 1 (2024-2025) from Angel Studios. Catalog titles include Aesthetics of a Bullet from Radiance Films, Covert Affairs: The Complete Series (2010-2014) from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment and 4K UHD upgrades for Charade (1963) and Five Easy Pieces (1970) from the Criterion Collection, The Boys in the Band (1970) from Cinématographe and The Flintstones (1994) from Shout Factory.

Blu-ray Sales: May 10-16: Fight Club Beats Up Recent Releases to Top the Charts

For the week that ended on May 16th, Disney and 20th Century Studios' Fight Club (1999), which was released on 4K UHD for the first time, topped the Blu-ray-only, overall packaged media and 4K UHD charts, sending last week's top title, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's IT: Welcome to Derry: The Complete First Season (2025) down to second place. Third place on the Blu-ray-only chart went to Lionsgate Home Entertainment's I Can Only Imagine 2 in its second week.

The week of February 5th is a light one, with the biggest release likely being a 4K UHD upgrade for McCabe & Mrs. Miller from the Criterion Collection. New releases include Blu-rays for Waitress: The Musical from Decal Releasing, and the anime series Handyman Saitou in Another World and Revenger from Crunchyroll. Other catalog titles include Blu-rays for The Terminal Man and Funeral Home from Shout Factory, The Sting of Death from Radiance Films and several Blu-ray reissues from Kino Lorber.
