Blu-ray Sales: July 19-25: Michael's Not Falling Down in Second Week

For the week that ended on July 25th, Lionsgate Home Entertainment's Michael (2026) remained atop the Blu-ray-only, overall packaged media and 4K UHD charts in its second week, while Universal Pictures Home Entertainment's Obsession (2025) remained in second place in its second week. Third place on the Blu-ray-only chart went to Falling Down, which was released on remastered Blu-ray and 4K UHD by Arrow Video this week.

For the week of August 3rd, Decal Releasing and Neon will release Exit 8 on Blu-ray and other new releases include Viz Media's anime series Rooster Fighter: Season One (2026). Catalog titles include A Midsummer Night's Dream (1935), The Sisters (1938), Random Harvest, Presenting Lily Mars, The Seventh Cross and Macao (1952) on Blu-ray from the Warner Archive Collection, School on Fire on Blu-ray and 4K UHD from Shout Factory and 4K UHD upgrades for Safe (1995) from the Criterion Collection, The People vs. Larry Flynt from Arrow Video, American Pie 2 and Little Fockers from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment and Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby fr om Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

Interview with the Vampire 4K Blu-ray

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has dated its upcoming 4K Blu-ray release of Neil Jordan's Interview with the Vampire (1994), starring Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Antonio Banderas, Stephen Rea, and Christian Slater. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on September 22.

Alliance Entertainment, in association with Amazon MGM Studios, is preparing 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases of Travis Knight's Masters of the Universe (2026), starring Nicholas Galitzine, Camila Mendes, Jared Leto, Alison Brie, and Idris Elba. The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on October 20.

Severin Uncovers Two Lost Andy Milligan Films, Introduces New 2K Restorations

Severin has announced that two previously thought lost Andy Milligan Films have been uncovered and restored in 2K. The films are: Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me! (1968) and The Degenerates (1967). The label has not yet revealed preliminary dates for upcoming Blu-ray releases of these films.

For the week that ended on April 5th, Walt Disney Home Entertainment's Mufasa: The Lion King debuted atop both the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts in a week where the top five spots on the Blu-ray-only chart were all taken by new releases: Disney and Searchlight Pictures' A Complete Unknown debuted in second place, Lionsgate Home Entertainment's Flight Risk took third, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment's Dog Man took fourth and Toho's My Hero Academia: You're Next took fifth.
