Blue Underground has confirmed via social media that its highly anticipated 4K restoration of Ralph Bakshi's Fire and Ice (1983) is finally underway. A 4K Blu-ray release was pre-announced in 2020, but the label and its partners were unable to locate the original camera negatives, and the project was canceled.
