Warner Archive Announces June Releases

Warner Archive has announced its June batch of releases. They are: Last Summer (1969), Pretty Maids All in a Row (1971), Start the Revolution Without Me (1970), Come Live with Me (1941), Night and Day (1946), Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo (1944), Strange Cargo (1940), Rose-Marie (1936), Letty Lynton (1932), and Dastardly and Muttley in Their Flying Machines: The Complete Series (1969-1970).

Scream Factory and Shout Factory Announce July Releases

Scream Factory and Shout Factory have begun revealing the titles from their July slate of 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases. Amongst them are: Unlawful Entry (1992), Full Contact (1992), Pleasantville (1998), Dark Shadows (2012), and Lupin the 3rd: The Movie ─ The Immortal Bloodline (2025).

Blu-ray Sales: April 19-25: 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple Bests the Competition

For the week that ended on April 25th, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple topped both the Blu-ray-only and 4K UHD charts in a week where the top six Blu-rays were all new releases: Black Bear's Shelter (2026), which topped the overall packaged media chart, took second place, while Lionsgate Home Entertainment's The Strangers: Chapter 3 took third, followed immediately by Disney and 20th Century Studios' Send Help (2026), Paramount Home Media Distribution's Primate (2025) and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment's Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die.

This Week on Blu-ray: May 4-10

For the week of May 4th, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will release "Wuthering Heights" (2026) and IT: Welcome to Derry: The Complete First Season (2025) on Blu-ray and 4K UHD. Other new releases include GOAT (2026) from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, Solo Mio from Angel Studios, I Can Only Imagine 2 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment and Youngblood (2025) from Well Go USA. Catalog titles include Stray Dog (1949) from the Criterion Collection, G.I. Samurai from Arrow Video, Blue Thunder: The Complete Series (1984) from Sony, The Pusher Trilogy (1996-2005) from Magnolia Home Entertainment, Gilmore Girls: The Complete Series (2000-2016) from Warner and 4K UHD upgrades for Alice in Wonderland (1951) from Walt Disney Home Entertainment and Blue Thunder (1983) from Arrow.

The 7th Voyage of Sinbad 4K Blu-ray

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that it will release on 4K Blu-ray Nathan Juran's The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (1958), starring Kerwin Mathews, Kathryn Grant, Richard Eyer, Torin Thatcher, and Alec Mango. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on July 21.

Lionsgate Home Entertainment has officially announced that it will release on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray Roland Emmerich's film Midway (2019), starring Ed Skrein, Patrick Wilson, Luke Evans, Aaron Eckhart, and Nick Jonas. The two releases will be available for purchase on February 18.

Other titles include Robert Eggers' delirious The Lighthouse, Kino's Blu-ray release of the Rian Johnson neo-noir Brick, and Criterion's Blu-ray offering of the great Katharine Hepburn-Cary Grant rom-com Holiday.

Blu-ray Sales, December 23-28: Rambo Takes Revenge on Home Media

For the week that ended on December 28th, Lionsgate Home Entertainment's Rambo: Last Blood remained at Number One on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media charts. Ostensibly the final feature in Sylvester Stallone's Rambo franchise, this action-thriller was a modest commercial hit when it premiered last September, grossing $91 million on top of its estimated $50-million production budget.

French label Le chat qui fume officially announced today that it is preparing a 4K Blu-ray release of Andrzej Żuławski's film Possession (1981), starring Isabelle Adjani, Sam Neill, Heinz Bennent, Margit Carstensen, and Johanna Hofer. The upcoming release, which will be sourced from a brand new restoration completed in association with TF1, is expected to arrive on the market later this year.
