Death Laid an Egg: Special Edition Blu-ray (UPDATED)

U.S. label Cult Epics has informed us that it is preparing a Special Edition of Giulio Questi's thriller Death Laid an Egg: Special Edition a.k.a. La morte ha fatto l'uovo (1968), starring Gina Lollobrigida, Jean-Louis Trintignant, Ewa Aulin, Renato Romano, and Jean Sobieski. The release will be available for purchase on October 13.

Synopsis: A woman (Ewa Aulin) plans to kill both her lover (Jean-Louis Trintignant) and his wife (Gina Lollobrigida) but conspires with each one to get the job done. Cinematography by Dario Di Palma (Ettore Scola's Ugly, Dirty and Bad, Lina Wertmüller's The Seduction of Mimi).
