This Week on Blu-ray: April 27-May 3

For the week of April 27th, Lionsgate Home Entertainment will release Dust Bunny on 4K UHD. Other new releases include Highest 2 Lowest from A24, Grafted from Shudder, Cold Storage from Samuel Goldwyn Films, Great Absence from Film Movement and Plan 75 from KimStim. Catalog titles include Blu-rays from the Warner Archive Collection, Badge 373 from Cinématographe, Something's Gotta Give from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and 4K UHD releases for Hold that Ghost and Throw Momma from the Train from Kino Lorber, The Grapes of Death and The Living Dead Girl from Indicator, Innerspace and Soldier (1998) from Arrow Video and John Singleton's Hood Trilogy (1991-2001) from the Criterion Collection.

Hoppers 4K Blu-ray

Disney will release on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray Daniel Chong's Hoppers (2026), featuring the voices of Piper Curda, Bobby Moynihan, Jon Hamm, Meryl Streep, and Dave Franco. The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on June 2.

Blu-ray Sales: April 5-11: Over the Garden Wall and Mercy Top the Charts

For the week that ended on April 11th, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's Over the Garden Wall: The Complete Series (2014) topped the Blu-ray-only chart, while the weeks top 4K UHD release, Alliance Entertainment's Mercy (2026) took second place and third place went to Lionsgate Home Entertainment's Greenland 2: Migration in its second week.

28 Days Later 4K Blu-ray

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that it will release on 4K Blu-ray Danny Boyle's 28 Days Later (2002), starring Cillian Murphy, Naomie Harris, Christopher Eccleston, Megan Burns, and Brendan Gleeson. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on September 1.

German label Camera Obscura has revealed that it plans to release on 4K Blu-ray Sandy Harbutt's cult thriller Stone (1974), starring Ken Shorter, Sandy Harbutt, Deryck Barnes, Hugh Keays-Byrne, and Roger Ward. The release, which will be sourced from an exclusive new 4K restoration, is expected to arrive on the market later this year.

For the week of January 17th, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment will release Last Night in Soho on Blu-ray and 4K UHD and The Addams Family and Annie Live! on Blu-ray. Other new releases include Titane and The Last Son from Decal Releasing, Wheel of Fortune and Fantasy from Film Movement and Escape from Mogadishu from Well Go USA. Catalog titles include a 4K UHD upgrades for A Hard Day's Night from The Criterion Collection and The Toolbox Murders from Blue Underground.

For the week that ended on January 8th, it's déjà vu all over again as Universal Pictures Home Entertainment's No Time to Die remained on top of both the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts for a third week, while once again, second and third place on both charts went to Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's Venom: Let There Be Carnage and Walt Disney Home Entertainment's Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. However, Disney and 20th Century Studios' Antlers, a new release this week, came in just behind, taking fourth place on both charts.
