Warner Archive Announces September and October Releases

Warner Archive has announced its September and October batches of releases. They are: Ryan's Daughter (1970), Maverick: The Complete Series (1957-1962), Boys Town (1938), Please Don't Eat the Daisies (1960), The Great Waltz (1938), Marked Woman (1937), Dear Heart (1964), Bundle of Joy (1956), Skyscraper Souls (1932), and The Quick Draw McGraw Show: The Complete Series (1959-1961).

Little Shop of Horrors 40th Anniversary 4K Blu-ray

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Frank Oz's Little Shop of Horrors (1986) with a brand new 4K Blu-ray SteelBook release, which is scheduled to arrive on the market on October 6th.

An American Werewolf in London 45th Anniversary 4K Blu-ray (UPDATED)

Paramount Home Media Distribution is preparing a 4K Blu-ray release of Keenen Ivory Wayans' Scary Movie (2000), starring Jon Abrahams, Rick Ducommun, Carmen Electra, Shannon Elizabeth, and Anna Faris. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on September 22.

Blu-ray Sales: July 26-August 1: Mortal Kombat II Kills Bill and Stranger Things

For the week that ended on August 1st, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's Mortal Kombat II topped the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts in its debut, beating out Lionsgate Home Entertainment's Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, which took second place on the Blu-ray-only chart, but nonetheless, was the week's top 4K UHD release. Third place on the Blu-ray-only chart went to Arrow Video's Stranger Things: The Complete Series (2016-2025).

This Week on Blu-ray: August 10-16

For the week of August 10th, Alliance Entertainment and MGM will release Project Hail Mary on Blu-ray and 4K UHD. Other new releases include Barbarian (2022) from Disney and 20th Century Studios, Hokum and EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert from Decal Releasing, The Furious from Lionsgate Home Entertainment, Tuner from Black Bear, Dolly from Shudder and both Panda Plan: The Magical Tribe and Seven Snipers from Well Go USA. Catalog titles include 4K UHD releases for New York, New York (1977) and Death Warrant from MVD Visual, Mars Attacks! from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and Ju-on: The Grudge from Arrow Video.

For the week that ended on April 9th, Paramount Home Media Distribution's Scream (2022) topped the Blu-ray-only chart, while Universal Pictures Home Entertainment's Sing 2 slipped to second place in its second week, despite staying on top of the overall packaged media chart. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's The Matrix Resurrections also maintained third place on the Blu-ray chart.
