The Crow 4K Blu-ray Movie Review
Reviewed by Jeffrey Kauffman November 5, 2024
Lionsgate has once again partnered with Amazon to offer an exclusive SteelBook edition, this time of The Crow. The release's disc contents
mimic the wide release. Even those who aren't particularly drawn
toward special packaging like this (not to mention the film it encloses) may be enticed by the striking design of this SteelBook.

For my thoughts on the film, please see my

The SteelBook packaging may be relatively "minimal" by some excessive modern day packaging standards, but it's quite evocative. The silver and
black main panels offer a striking "crow" laden version of Eric (AKA The Crow) kind of in a quasi-negative "reverse" look on the front panel, and more
crows and a really beautifully embossed magical eye on the back. A Mylar O ring superimposes a dark, but correctly polarized (i.e., not "reversed")
image of Eric, with credits on the back. The interior panels offer an assortment of sketches.
The Crow 4K Blu-ray Movie, Overall Score and Recommendation

The movie may be a mess, but as I mentioned in the review of the wide release, it has some style going for it, and that now extends to a really
handsomely designed SteelBook, which may make this particular edition the preferred release for anyone interested in making a purchase.
