Paramount has released a Blu-ray/UHD combo SteelBook packaging variant for the streaming 'Star Trek' film 'Section 31.' The disc and digital content is identical to that found in the wide release. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below for more on the SteelBook's look and feel.

Paramount's SteelBook is glossy and smooth. It's based in shades of purple, featuring Philippa Georgiou seated on the left side, facing forward, legs
crossed, and whole body in view. She appears to have her feet feet resting on a dead body. The film's title appears in progressively larger green letters,
top left, with the "31" many times bigger than any other print. The rear panel is fairly bland, with the same purple-ish background and the following
text
centered in green, with green bars above and below: "To protect the light, they fight in shadow." The spine is similarly titled with the title center, a CBS
logo at the top, and a Paramount logo at the bottom, all in green.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The two discs, one UHD and one Blu-ray, are situated on the right in
staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features Philippa Georgiou seated on the left-hand side of the interior, smiling.
It's a pretty bland interior, to be frank.

I can't say I'm surprised to find a fairly generic SteelBook for a truly awful Star Trek film. This one's pretty characterless -- literally with the absence of more characters from the film as a focus -- but whatever. Like I said in the main review, I'll keep this one...but keep it tucked far, far away. Out of sight, out of mind.
