Universal and Best Buy have collaborated on a store exclusive SteelBook release for the 2021 franchise Horror film 'Halloween Kills.' The disc and digital content is identical to that found in the wide release. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below for more on the SteelBook's look and feel.

Universal's glossy smooth SteelBook will show some handling fingerprints in its dark areas. The front is predominantly red and black, befitting the film's
bloody tone and mostly nighttime setting. The front features Michael's face top right, his hand holding a large knife vertically, blade down, along the
left-hand side. The film's title is scrawled in white bottom right. Various red splatters fill the scene, too. The rear panel depicts Jason standing on the
street, head tilted slightly to his left, holding a knife in his right hand. Again, the scene is all black and red with red splashes along the surface. Small
white studio logos and legalese appear bottom left and there's also a number string bottom right in white. The spine is black with the film's title in block
letters center in white. A Universal logo appears at the bottom, also in white.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The two discs, one UHD and one Blu-ray, are situated on the right in
staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features a black-and-white image of Laurie Strode, firmly on the left, holding a
bloody knife, walking towards the camera. A nearly blank background appears to further the image on the right.

This SteelBook is all about mood: darkness and blood, which suits the movie, and the franchise, quite nicely. The UHD presentation is solid, as is the film. Recommended.
