The stars of a 1980s sci-fi show--now eking out a living through re-runs and sci-fi conventions--are beamed aboard an alien spacecraft. Believing the cast’s heroic on-screen dramas are historical documents of real-life adventures, the band of aliens turn to the cast members for help in their quest to overcome the oppressive regime in their solar system.

Paramount has widely released a UHD SteelBook packaging variant for the fantastic 1999 film 'Galaxy Quest.' The disc and digital content is identical to that found in the UHD wide release. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below for more on the SteelBook's look and feel.

Paramount brings Galaxy Quest to SteelBook packing for its UHD debut. Beyond the SteelBook, an embossed slipcover with identical front
panel
artwork is included (the rear is different depicting the Protector in flight). The SteelBook is glossy and on the front prominently features an old
CRT TV with Taggart, Madison, and Dr, Lazarus inside of it. The Protector bursts out of the screen and is shown flying at the top of the
SteelBook, right
below the film's title, which is in a dark purple lettering. Outer space elements appear in the background. On the back is a rendering of most of the key
characters from the film, all of them in various poses and presentations. The NSEA logo appears behind them. The spine is very simple. It's black with
the film's title in small purple letters, center (identical to the style on the front). A Paramount logo has been placed at the top.
Inside the digital copy code is tucked under the left-hand side tabs. The single UHD disc is placed on a hub, center right. The inner print is a two panel
spread depicting four of the aliens from the film, all sort of looking down at the camera. The two on the left are showing teeth; the ones on the right are
not.

I think fans will enjoy this SteelBook. It's not the most inspired ever, but it captures the essence of the film nicely enough. The movie is great and the UHD is well rounded. Highly recommended!
