Reviewed by Martin Liebman August 18, 2023
Universal and Best Buy have collaborated on a store exclusive SteelBook release for the 2023 film 'Fast X.' The disc and digital content is identical
to that found in the wide release. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below
for
more on the SteelBook's look and feel.

Fast X 4K Blu-ray Movie, Special Features and Extras

This SteelBook release of Fast X is glossy and smooth and will show fingerprint handling in the darker areas. The front panel is very stylized
within the familiar core layout for the franchise. Slicing through the middle at a slight upward angle is a character collage in black-and-white with
Dominic front-and-center. Above in a purple streak is the film's title in gray-tinted white lettering. Below is a flashy yellow sports car with purple
highlights. The
rear panel features the same car with the same color scheme. It is sitting within a very dark gray color background with the number "10" in large black
digits, outlined in purple, hovering above. The spine is silver with the film's title in that same gray-white color, center. The number "10" appears at the
top in white and a Universal logo, also in white, appears at the bottom.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The two discs, one UHD and one Blu-ray, are situated on the right in
staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features nothing but a brushed metal silver color.

Fast X 4K Blu-ray Movie, Overall Score and Recommendation

This is a very nice SteelBook that fits well within the larger Fast home video stylings. The lack of an inner print might disappoint some, but I
personally like it; it's better than just a generic still from the film. The film proper is solid and the UHD presentation is excellent. Recommended.
