Paramount is widely releasing a 25th anniversary SteelBook for Amy Heckerling's 1995 Comedy 'Clueless.' The disc and digital content is identical to that found in the basic packaging release, which contains the same video, audio, and supplements from the 2012 disc. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below for more on the SteelBook's look and feel.

It's gone plaid! The Clueless SteelBook, which is smooth and glossy but not likely to display an inordinate amount of fingerprinting due to its
forgiving color scheme, features a yellow plaid pattern running across the front. Cher Horowitz stands center, wearing what amounts to a skirt and
jacket that
blend perfectly with her surroundings. Her white stockings, bits of leg, hands, and head break up the illusion. She's facing
forward, cell phone pressed to hear ear. The film's title runs across the middle, slightly below center, in unevenly positioned letters. Alicia Silverstone's
name accompanies in smaller print above the letters "C" and "L." The rear panel simply carries over the plaid design. A small Paramount logo and a
copyright notice appear bottom left. The spine likewise retains the same plaid pattern. The film's title appears center in pink while pink Paramount and
Blu-ray logos appear top and bottom, respectively.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The lone Blu-ray disc is situated on the right hand side on its own hub. The
inner print is a two-panel spread that features a number of stills and promo images from the film; it's essentially a somewhat organized pile of
Polaroids.

Great movie, solid Blu-ray, but a shame it's just the same disc repackaged. There's nothing overly wrong with it, but a UHD of this mid-90s classic would have been most welcome. Still, a definite recommend to buy for both fans of the film and SteelBook collectors.
