British distributors Dogwoof announced that they have acquired the distribution rights to acclaimed director Ken Loach's (Kes, Route Irish) Spirit of '45 (2013). The theatrical release of the film will be complimented by an interactive project in collaboration with the filmmakers and commissioned by the BFI and Film 4.0.
Official synopsis: 1945 was a pivotal year in British history. Great changes in the post war social and political landscape redefined the way Britain was run. This film is about the spirit of that era.
