Universal Studios-France is planning to bring to Blu-ray Alexandre Arcady's (father of director Alexandre Aja, Switchblade Romance) latest film Ce que le jour doit à la nuit a.k.a What the Day Owes the Night (2012), starring Nora Arnezeder (Maniac), Fu'ad Aït Aattou (The Last Mistress), Anne Parillaud (Nikita), Vincent Perez (The Horseman on the Roof), and Anne Consigny (A Christmas Tale). Street date is February 19th.
Based on the bestselling novel by Yasmina Khadra. Algeria, the 1930s. Younes is nine years old when he is put in his uncle's care in Oran. Rebaptized Jonas, he grows up among the Rio Salado youths, with whom he becomes friends. Emilie is one of the gang, and everyone is in love with her. A great love story develops between Jonas and Emilie, which is soon unsettled by the conflicts troubling the country.
