King of the Pecos (1936), George Sherman's
Frontier Horizon (1939), Lewis Teague's
Cujo (1983), and Tony Randel's
Ticks (1993).
Exact technical specs, region coding status, and supplemental features to be included with these upcoming releases are yet to be revealed.
The New Frontier
In 1889 pioneers race ahead of the law to claim free land in Oklahoma, forming wide-open towns. In one such, citizens elect Milt Dawson to challenge the self-appointed rule of gambler Ace Holmes, only to have him shot in the back. But leading the next batch of settlers is Milt's quick-on-the-draw son John, who gets help from friendly outlaws.
King of Pecos
Profiteer Alexander Stiles lays claim to a million acres of range in the Pecos River country, but a rancher named Clayborn stands in his way as he has already claimed the water-rich location of Sweetwater as his own, and refuses Stiles' $1000 offer for his land. Led by the murderous Ash, the hired guns of Stiles kill Clayborn and his wife but their young son John survives and joins his grandfather in Austin.
Frontier Horizon a.k.a Raiders of the Wasteland
The Three Mesquiteers convince a group of settlers to exchange their present property for some which, unbeknownst to our good guys, is going to be worthless. They are captured before they can warn the ranchers.
Ticks
A social worker and sociologist couple lead a multi-ethnic group of inner city teens on a wilderness retreat to "get away from it all." While there, amidst their various inter-relating, they fall prey both to a mutated form of deadly ticks and a couple of sociopathic, marijuana-growing locals.
Cujo
In rural Maine, Vic and Donna Trenton struggle to repair their crumbling marriage, while their young son Tad befriends a hulking, lovable, 200-pound St. Bernard named Cujo. With Vic away on business, Donna and Tad take their decrepit car to be fixed at the remote farm of their mechanic. As their aging Pinto sputters to a stop and dies, Cujo appears. But the once docile dog has undergone a hideous transformation - and becomes a slavering, demonic, implacable killer possessed by almost supernatural strength... and unholy cunning.
