French label Pathe has announced that it is planning to restore over 100 films from its massive catalog. The five-year project, which will be assisted by the Eclair Group and L'Immagine Ritrovata, is expected to cover a number of classic feature films from Pathe's catalog.

Pathe are responsible for recent restorations of Luchino Visconti's The Leopard (1963), Roman Polanski's Tess (1979), Marcel Carné's Children of Paradise (1945), Raymond Bernard's Les Miserables (1934), and Jean Renoir's Boudu Saved from Drowning (1932).
