Acorn Media has announced street dates and specifications for two of its 2013 Blu-ray releases.
First to arrive is Set 21 of the popular British series
Midsomer Murders on January 8,
2013. This will be followed by Season 5 of the unique Canadian police procedural,
Murdoch
Mysteries, on March 5, 2013.
Midsomer Murders stars Neil Dudgeon as Detective Chief Inspector John Barnaby,
with Jason Hughes as his young partner, Detective Sergeant Ben Jones. Guest stars include
Samantha Bond, David Warner, Edward Fox, Phyllida Law, and Pam Ferris. Set 21 includes four mysteries on two Blu-ray discs.
Murdoch Mysteries centers on the brilliant detective William Murdoch (Yannick
Bisson), a pioneer of crime-solving technologies in Victorian Toronto. Series 5 includes 13 episodes on three Blu-ray discs. Special features for Season 5 include:
