Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has revealed the extra features that will accompany the film on the upcoming Blu-ray release of '
The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep', due in stores April 8th. Viewers will be presented with six featurettes, including "Creating Crusoe", "Myths and Legends", "Setting the Scene", "The Characters", "The Story", and "Water Works: Creating the Water Horse". Also available on the disc will be numerous deleted scenes.
Exclusive to the Blu-ray will be an interactive game called "The Water Horse: Virtual Crusoe Game" where users will be able to grow and care for their own virtual water horse.
When a lonely young boy named Angus discovers a large, mysterious egg along the shores of Loch Ness, no one is prepared for what lies within. He soon discovers, that the strange, mischievous hatchling inside is none other than The Water Horse, the loch's most mysterious and fabled creature. But with the Water Horse growing ten times its size every day, Angus finds it increasingly difficult to keep his new friend a secret.
