Amazon Blu-ray Deals of the Week: RoboCop and Modern Family

Amazon's Blu-ray Deals of the Week affect both MGM's RoboCop Trilogy package as well as Twentieth Century Fox's first two Modern Family season sets.

One of the most popular sci-fi-action franchises ever made, the RoboCop Trilogy takes place in futuristic Detroit, where violent gangs of criminals and corrupt politicians constantly threaten everyday civilians.

The balance between good and evil shifts, however, after scientists revive a recently murdered policeman (Peter Weller, Firstborn, and Robert John Burke, Stephen King's Thinner) by turning him into a half-man, half-machine, crime-fighting operative.

Fox's three-disc sets include a wide assortment of bonus supplements, such as behind-the-scenes documentaries, interviews with cast and crew members, deleted scenes, and audio commentaries on selected episodes.

Amazon is offering the Modern Family packages for $26.99 each, or 55% off their SRPs of $59.99.

These deals expire at 12 AM PST/3 AM EST next Sunday, September 23rd.
