Amazon Blu-ray Deal of the Week: Resident Evil (Expired)

Amazon's Blu-ray Deal of the Week affects films from the Resident Evil series. Through September 15th, Amazon is offering selected Resident Evil Blu-ray packages for 50% and 65% of their standard MSRPs.
Inspired by the popular video games, the Resident Evil horror franchise examines an Earth under the thrall of the Umbrella Corporation, a multi-national pharmaceutical company that undertakes unethical - and dangerous - chemical testing and genetic engineering.
The Corporation's most notorious creation is the T-virus, which mutates living and dead animals into bizarre, flesh-craving monsters, and the Resident Evil pictures follow a band of desperate survivors as they attempt to stop the virus and save the world.
All films are presented in their original aspect ratios - 1.78 for Resident Evil: Degeneration, 1.85:1 for Resident Evil, and 2.39:1 for Resident Evil: Apocalypse, Resident Evil: Extinction, and Resident Evil: Afterlife - with 5.1 Dolby TrueHD, LPCM, and DTS-HD Master Audio sound tracks.
The Blu-rays also have a wide assortment of bonus supplements, including behind-the-scenes documentaries, interviews with cast and crew members, and audio commentaries on selected features.
Note: Resident Evil: The High Definition Trilogy contains all of the special features and technical specifications available in the three films' individual Blu-ray editions.
The single-movie Resident Evil, Resident Evil: Apocalypse, Resident Evil: Extinction, Resident Evil: Degeneration, and Resident Evil: Afterlife sets are $9.99 each, while The High Definition Trilogy is $22.99.
This deal expires at 12 AM PST/3 AM EST next Sunday, September 16th.
