The Weinstein Company has just revealed the first official trailer for Killing Them Softly. Director Andrew Dominik's follow-up to his critically acclaimed Western The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford looks to the George V. Higgins crime novel Cogan's Trade as inspiration for his newest drama, which deals with the violent fallout amongst a loosely connected group of criminals and killers in the Boston area.
When two low-life hoodlums (Scoot McNairy, Monsters, and Ben Mendelsohn, Animal Kingdom) rob a poker game, their intention is to shift the blame to unlucky made man Markie Trattman (Ray Liotta, GoodFellas).
