Independent British distributors Momentum Pictures have officially announced and detailed their upcoming Blu-ray release of Gareth Evans' The Raid (2011), starring Iko Uwais, Ananda George and Ray Sahetapy. The release will be available for purchase online and in shops across the United Kingdom on September 24th.
Note: In addition to the regular release, Play.com is also offering an exclusive SteelBook edition. HMV.com will have their own exclusive release as well.

The Raid is an Indonesian action film in which a SWAT team becomes trapped inside a 15-storey apartment block ruled by a ruthless gangster and his army of killers, thugs and drug-dealers. The largely rookie squad is led by an over-cautious Lieutenant into the building, where it is quickly outsmarted and out-gunned. Their objective is to bring to justice the drugs baron who resides on the building's top floor, but this proves far easier said than done.
